'24 Hexagon MSC Actran Training Session

Updated: Feb 19

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Korea recently hosted a comprehensive training workshop on the use of MSC Actran software, which was attended by students from Adolab. This event took place from January 31 to February 2. The focus of the workshop was on simulations related to pure-acoustics and aero-acoustics, providing participants with the opportunity to become proficient in the software's functionalities. This hands-on experience aimed at enabling students to tackle complex simulation challenges, particularly those associated with aero-vehicles.

The importance of the software lies in its ability to predict the noise levels emitted by rotors, a critical concern in the development of advanced air mobility (AAM) solutions. Noise mitigation is a key issue in the advancement of AAM, making the knowledge of aero-acoustic simulations invaluable. Adolab has consistently utilized Actran for a broad spectrum of aero-acoustic simulations. This training session offered a significant opportunity for students to deepen their understanding and enhance their skills. It focused on equipping them with advanced techniques to achieve more accurate and efficient simulation results.

Through these sessions, students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that are crucial for solving real-world problems in the field of aero-acoustics and beyond.
